Welcome to our home away from home! It didn't take us long to fall in love with Zihuatanejo and knew we wanted a place of our own at La Casa Que Ve al Mar(the house that sees the sea). We hope you love it just as much.
Only 15-20 mins after you leave the airport you are home. The 1200sq ft condo in our gated community offers you two bedrooms, both with King size beds and two full bathrooms plus a cozy living area. A full kitchen stocked with all sorts of spices and most of your everyday cooking needs. (If you decide to cook for yourself that is) We highly recommend having the maid cook for you at least once! You won't regret it. It's our favorite meal when we are there. Plan for leftovers too! No need to worry about the drinking water in your unit. The water system in the complex is fully filtered. There is also a bottled water service on site.
Slide the glass panels to one side to make the condo a fully open-air unit and grab your drink of choice, sit back, relax, and enjoy the 5-star views of Playa La Ropa and the Bay of Zihuatanejo. The sunsets from your terrace can't be beaten!
Want a break from the sun or just need to cool down? Each room has its own A/C unit. We usually only use them when we go to bed or when we are gonna take a shower. The breeze coming off the ocean just feels so nice during the day we love to leave the panels open as much as possible.
Just down the staircase, you will find the 2 beautiful infinity pools with plenty of chaise lounge chairs. Don't want to be at the pool? There is also a small seating area just off to the side of the pool where you can still enjoy the views.
A short 5-7min walk downhill will put you right on the beautiful white sandy beach of Playa La Ropa. There you will find restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Massage tents (don't be afraid, they are amazing), parasailing, sea-doo's for rent, sport fishing boats for hire, paddle boarding, Hobie cat rentals, and tube rides!
At Casa Que Ve al Mar, you are in a very unique location, minutes from the beach or a short walk/quick taxi ride to multiple gourmet dining locations. Casa Que Canta, Tentaciones, Ristorante Il Mare, and Espuma to name a few.
Make sure to head into Zihua for more restaurants and shopping. See the fishers bring in their catch at Paseo de Pescadores, and maybe take one home for dinner. Wander through all the local artists selling their wares.
Take the water taxi (or walk the water/cliff edges if you're adventurous) and spend the day at Las Gatas where you will be taken care of for as long as you want to stay. Snorkel gear, paddle boards, food & drinks. You name it, they will get it! We highly suggest the Picante cruise as well. A great way to spend a few hours on the water!
Want a little bit more of the tourist city shopping and activities? Ixtapa is a 20min car ride north. Golf, shopping, tennis courts, more beaches, and night clubs.
First-timer tip- when you arrive, get your things settled in then head down to the beach for dinner and drinks at one of the restaurants where you can wiggle your toes in the sand and feel the ocean breeze on your skin. It's fabulous!

Our complex is a gated community of 39 condominiums with onsite parking. The condos were designed by renowned architect Enrique Zozoya. The complex is snuggled into the hillside just above Playa La Ropa surrounded by lush green trees with views to rave about.
You have your own personal washer and dryer. So you really can pack light! I finally learned that my 3rd time down.
Maid service twice a week, or more if you'd like. Additional fees apply for extra cleanings and must be arranged ahead of time.

Quick 5-minute taxi or bus ride to the Mega (think Super Wal-Mart for Zihua) to get some groceries or whatever else you may have forgotten. The driver will wait for you if you ask, but there is never a shortage of taxis waiting to help.
Open-air Mercado with the freshest fruits/veggies/fish/meats
Also, Dulce, our on-site manager of sorts, is a wealth of information and can help with reservations, your maid cooking for you, etc.
