Summary: We enjoyed our overnight at Boomtown as part of a larger road trip over Thanksgiving week. I've passed Boomtown dozens of times in my life driving on interstate 80, and was always curious and intrigued as it has a lot of exterior character and just looks like a fun place from the freeway. We appreciated that the resort was pet-friendly. and dinner at Mel's was a fun experience with the cool retro vibe and 50's nostalgia. The room was spacious and clean.
