My place is a historial colonial house with all modern commodities located in Santiago Neighborhood. It has a living and dinner room, a separate kitchen with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and stove with oven. It has a bathroom with toilet, sink and a shower and hot and cold water. Two bedrooms each one with quality double size bed and closet. There is non shared WiFi though all the house.
The Historic center neighborhood of Santiago is aside of the Plaza Grande the oldest neighborhood of Mérida. It has great architecture, is full of culture and has a market for vegetable, fruit, meat, etc. Also some nice restaurants and cantinas. The Sharing Traditions Culinary Experiences Restaurant is settle in Mérida Santiago Hotel Boutique and they have excellent dinners, it´s open from Wednesday to Sunday from 5 to 10PM. El Cardinal is a nice cantina bar in Santiago. Chi Cool in casa Catherwood offer vegetarian options. Some art-galleries are located in Santiago as is the Zoo. Santiago is great neighborhood to live, to explore or just to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. All major attractions of Mérida are at walking distance.
