Negative: Had stayed at Palmeras previously in a lovely studio suite that opened to a patio and the pool and thought that was the room I was booking. On the site, I was able to indicate we wanted a ground floor room. On arrival, we were shown to a tiny room on the second floor with just two beds, on the back of the hotel. We requested to upgrade the room but the hotel was operating just a few rooms in summer and nothing else was available. Folks, check the options carefully when choosing a room here. Regular rooms are barebones, street view, choose the suites instead. My fault, I didn’t check the listing of rooms closely enough to see I had chosen a regular room vs the patio suites. Staff were lovely, just couldn’t help with no other options available. Recommend the hotel… just not the regular rooms.
