Originally built for rich Guadalajara families as a weekend getaway, Chula Vista has been discovered by architects, designers and young families who are renovating older homes into architectural gems. It is part of San Antonio Tlayacapan, a traditional Mexican town with younger businesses, considered by many as the up and coming “New East Ajijic”.

The modern fountain in the entry was hand built and the chairs in the salon are handmade by artisans.
