The Space:

As you enter the bright living room, your eyes will be drawn to the views and the beautiful outdoor space. Retractable glass doors enclose the air-conditioned living-dining-kitchen area. The spacious indoor/outdoor terrace with a private heated pool and loungers is the perfect place to enjoy the views and tropical birds while having your morning coffee, evening cocktail, starlit dinners, or all of the above. The luxury kitchen is well-equipped with a super-automatic espresso/cappuccino machine for your morning lattes. The kitchen is stocked with essentials like salt, pepper, good quality olive oil, and of course, an electric juicer, a blender for smoothies, and a lime press and cocktail shaker for margaritas. You will find tableware and glassware for 8 people, as well as ample cookware and utensils. High-quality appliances include a dishwasher, microwave, toaster/air fryer oven, and a stacking washer/dryer. You will also find a filtered water faucet in the kitchen and beautiful pitchers in all bathrooms for drinking water. Enjoy your music with a wireless Bose speaker. Connect to high-speed internet and WiFi throughout the apartment. A handcrafted parota wood dining table for 8, and a comfortable L-shaped sofa and armchair complete the living space. The 3 luxurious suites are air-conditioned and consist of two master suites (both with terrace access and views), and one with two single beds (which can be converted into a King bed). In all rooms, you will find luxury bedding and mattress, a flat-screen TV for your favorite shows, a small safe, closets, and storage space. Large rain showers, plush towels, bathrobes, and raw marble countertops give the bathrooms a luxurious spa feel. The bathroom attached to the room with two single beds is also accessible from the main hallway.
The Neighborhood:
Armadillo is located at the end of Playa la Ropa, overlooking the bay to downtown Zihuatanejo. Walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes where you will find a variety of restaurants and beach bars, live music, beach massages, and water activities. By taxi, you can be in downtown Zihuatanejo in less than 10 minutes.
Getting Around:
The access road to Armadillo is still unpaved (with long-term plans to pave). The walk to and from Playa la Ropa includes 76 steps up a charming cobblestone lane and along a 200-foot unpaved path to the taxi stand and entrance to Playa la Ropa. By taxi, you can be in downtown Zihuatanejo in less than 10 minutes. If you prefer a scenic walk along the beach and a bit of exercise, you can choose to walk to the end of Playa la Ropa and then tackle the invigorating hill next to Hotel Casa Que Canta. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to downtown Zihuatanejo.
Other Things to Note:
Enjoy the ground-level infinity pool and terrace with a new charcoal grill, shaded seating area, loungers, and umbrellas. Swim or take a nap on a float. The building has an elevator for your convenience and has been designed to be wheelchair accessible.
