Enjoy a taste of the mountain life with skiing, river rafting, local breweries, and amazing mountain biking and hiking. We choose this home in Poncha Springs because of the quaint small town feel and beautiful views of Mount Ouray out the back door. Your only a 5 minute drive to downtown Salida and 20 minutes from Monarch mountain.
Our home has a wonderful hard wood stove and comfy living area to unwind in after a day of playing in the mountains. We have a flat screen smart TV which you can access your Netflix and Hulu accounts. We have high speed internet if you need to connect while you are away.
The master suite has a brand-new king mattress and luxurious bedding. The bathroom has a large tub/shower combo and there is plenty of room for a bubble bath.
The guest room has a beautiful mural of the mountains and the queen bed is so comfy it is hard to get out of in the morning!
Last the "kids" room is decorated with bikes because the mountain bike trails in Salida and surrounding areas made us fall in love with this place. The room has a bunk bed with a twin bed on top, full bed on the bottom.
The kitchen has anything you need to make your favorite meals during your stay. We also have a great local grocery store (la Gree's) within walking distance.
We have games and puzzles as well if you choose to stay in and cuddle by the fire.
We also have a pack 'n' play crib which fits in any of the bedrooms as well as a High-chair for our younger guests. The playground is across the street, you can watch the kids play from our front porch.
