Summary: I'd been to a couple of events at the Sheridan Inn over the years and I'd always wanted to see more of this beautiful, historic property, so I finally booked a stay. It was worth every penny. There was plenty of parking, and the staff was able to work through a state-wide power outage to get me checked in even though their reservation system was down. The room was absolutely gorgeous and extremely well-appointed, and I had a great night's sleep in an incredibly comfortable bed. Prior to that, I took the chill off in front of a roaring wood fire in the lobby. Breakfast in the morning offered a variety of options, and the food was terrific. Before checking out, I spent a little time exploring the seating area on the north side of the third floor, which was one more pleasant surprise. The owners have done this classic Inn justice, updating a historical icon to meet modern expectations while maintaining its link to the past.

Summary: I'm disabled. Too long of a walk from the handicap parking to the entrance of the hotel. The room was so small, about the size of my bedroom back home. While a claw tub is nostalgic, it was not ideal. No tv in room was again nostalgic not ideal. The slanted wall in the room, hit our head twice.

Summary: The property is very historic and cool to be at. The rooms were well maintained and clean. The breakfast is continental, so if you want a full breakfast you’ll have to eat outside the hotel.

Summary: It would be helpful if they said what the bathroom situation was. A tub with a shower hose doesn't work for everyone. Especially if you’re older. My wife hurt her back trying to get out of the small tub. Ruined our stay.

Summary: The photos on the internet led us to believe it was a cozy lodge kind of vibe. When we got there, it felt more like a Motel 6. They advertise complimentary breakfast, but the dining room was not very nice, the breakfast was eggs, sausage, and potatoes, with no healthy options. Paper plates and plastic utensils. It felt like summer camp, not a $325/night hotel.
