Summary: This beach house was beautiful & VERY clean! We were happy with everything it included! The outside patio area was our favorite place to be & being steps away from the ocean was such an amazing experience! However, be aware, it is a very tiny place making it challenging to maneuver around & feel very tight. A few other negatives: the sleeping arrangements are not what is listed. The room has a queen bed not a king, which we were looking forward to. The couch does extend, but I wouldn’t considered it a double sofa bed. (Would be fine for children but not adults) One of the biggest thing for us is we were so excited to bring our dog to experience his first time in the ocean & were very excited this place allowed pets. However, after we were told by friends to make sure Oceanside is dog friendly, we quickly found out it is not. Dogs can be on The Strand but are not allowed near the water. We were devastated & wished the listing stated this because we had to then find a dog sitter & keep him home. The other huge thing that was confusing was the unloading/loading area. We thought we had to unload in the parking area next to the house (which we got told by an occupant we couldn’t use when arriving) But then when someone came to change out the linens, they opened up the gate completely & we then realized you can unload & load in the area of the property. So we wished that was instructed better. Despite all the problems, it was an amazing place & we can’t wait to go back! Thank you!
