THIS UNIQUE HOUSE AND FURNITURE WAS BROUGHT FROM JAWA AND BALI, INDONESIA, IN DECEMBER 2013.IT TOOK ME A YEAR TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER ON A BEAUTIFUL HILLTOP PLOT OF LAND THAT IS CONTAINED IN A SECURE GUARDED COMMUNITY.WE BLENDED BUILDING MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES FROM THE TRADITIONS OF MEXICO AND INDONESIA.
THE HOUSES ARE MADE OF OLD TEAK ,APROX 120 YRS OLD .THEIR CONTENTS,GREEN STONE OF THE POOL AND THE TERRACOTTA ROOF TILES ALSO CAME FROM INDONESIA .
ON THE PROPERTY THERE ARE 2 HOUSES JOINED BY A STAIRCASE . THE FIRST MAIN HOUSE HAS A DOUBLE BEDROOM,BATHROOM,HUGE FULL KITCHEN,INSIDE AND AN OUTSIDE DINNING AND LIVING SPACE ,TERRACE,GARDEN AND POOL.
ALL THE TEAK WOOD FOLDING DOORS OPEN UP TO A BREATHTAKING VIEW OF THE SEA AND BAY.
THE SECOND, IS THE GUEST ROOM,A TYPICAL JAVANESSE HOUSE ON THE LEVEL BELOW IS A ONE BEDROOM UNIT WITH 2 SINGLE BEDS , A LARGE BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM WITH A SPECTACULAR VIEW OVER THE SEA AND THE GARDEN AND A TERRACE.
IN BETWEEN ,IS THE UTILITY ROOM, WITH A BATHROOM .IT HAS DOUBLE PARKING LOT AND
THE TERRACE HAS A TYPICAL INDONESIAN DAY BED, A HAMMOCK AND A TABLE WITH 6 CHAIRS ,SUNBEDS IN BOTH HOUSES, AN INFINITY POOL AND ALL IS SURROUNDED BY BEAUTIFUL PLANTS AND BUGAMBILIAS . Due to conditions in this planet linen will only be washed once a week .

Summary: We had a relaxing stay at Susana's place up on the hill. We have stayed in the neighborhood several times now and this was the best view yet. The upper house has a great open layout, spacious kitchen and a patio and outdoor space with plenty of room to spread out and spend time with family. The pool was the perfect temperature for us. Lower house was a little small (doorways are low) for two adults but they appreciated the lovely bathroom and views from the shower.
