Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Host was absolutely great and available. Cabin was clean and just beautiful. Sleeps many people although only 1 official bedroom. Can sleep in enclosed porch area or loft which provides some sense of privacy. Furniture was clean and comfortable. TV worked great with good channel selection. We enjoyed hanging out and relaxing in this cabin. Fit our needs perfectly. Outdoor grill, fire rings all great for cooking outdoors. Overall, just an amazing cabin.

Negative: There was nothing that we did not like, however note the following if you are considering this cabin. #1) Location is pretty secluded - this does not mean that I did not like it; but it was quite a lot of driving to activities or food. If arriving at night, be careful driving on the country roads. #2) Read all instructions from the owner as the cabin is solar powered and there are some precautions to take or you may run out of electricity! #3) We did not know this until booking the cabin, however firewood is $10 per small bundle. We used the wood burner quite a bit as it is beautiful and really heats the place up. #4) Due to solar power, can only use laundry machine from hours of 10am to 2pm when the sun is strongest. Dryer is propane so okay to use outside of these hours. #5) Must be very neat when leaving garbage and owners prefer you take it with you.#6) I did get altitude sickness. We came from Denver. Be prepared if you think this will happen to you. Either oxygen, which is sold in stores, or just a cup of coffee can help. #7) Close toilet lids when not in use! We did have a mouse fall in, but no big deal as this is very acceptable being way out in the country and probably an isolated incident. Owner was most helpful when this happened.
