Located in the exclusive Marina district, across from the Marina Golf Course, it is a short walk to the Marina shops, restaurants and weekly market as well as shopping centre and banks. Summary: We had a nice time at the Vela Resort. The condo wasn’t avails when we first arrived due to it being aired out due to a leak or something. We were put in a really nice room while they took care of the odor. I would suggest to the owners they need to check their air filters every 6 months or so. We couldn’t seem to get the stale odor out of the condo. An updated air filter would take care of that. Beds were ok. I appreciated the little washer they had available to us. The ease of getting around town was a plus. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The owners responded in a timely manner to our concerns and provided help with the small issues we encountered. Lots of reconstruction on the owners side of the resort. I’d double check with the resort if there will be construction happening during your stay. Other than that, it was a nice and pleasant time.
