That history is celebrated in the cozy Texas Ranger Room at 7 Canyons Ranch! The Texas Ranger Room is located in the uppermost level of the lodge, where you'll have an awesome viewpoint not only of the Hill Country, but the birds and wildlife that occupy it. Miles of hiking trails surround the lodge, too, and there's even a private lake stocked (seasonal) for catch-and-release fishing. It's a prime location for nature lovers, with the Hill Country and Lost Maples State Natural Areas, Garner State Park, and the tubing fun of the Medina River all within an half-hour's drive.
The lodge itself is a shared space, where fellow travelers forge friendships. Outside is a warm and soothing hot tub, BBQ pit, and the roomy and inviting "Liar's Pit" fire pit, where folks are invited to gather 'round and share their tall tales. There are many shared common area amenities indoors, too, like the two roomy dens with fireplaces, plenty of seating, and even a pool table. Kick back and unwind in the bar area or in front of the large-screen satellite TVs, which also come with VCR and DVD players. Private conference areas are available, and you will also have access to the lodge's huge caterer's kitchen. Smoking is allowed at the lodge, but only in outdoor areas.
The rich history of the Texas Rangers and their law-and-order influence is depicted in this room, which makes it a popular spot for visitors. Central air and heat, along with Wifi Internet access, come with the room, as well. The plush and comfy queen bed provides intimate sleeping accommodations for two, and you'll also have a private bath with a shower.
