Welcome to "Evans' Heaven" cabin! A beautiful lakefront mountain home- 5 bedrooms, 2 bath, 2 story house in the gated Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC). A perfect home for your family and friends to experience a peaceful, relaxing get away. Here you will enjoy crystal clear waters, spectacular sunsets, and the amazing mountain scenery that Lake Almanor has to offer from our private dock (May-Oct) or large deck. Gather around the propane fire pit for great conversation. A propane BBQ is on the side deck for grilling use.
The main level of the house has a spacious Great Room, wood burning fireplace & Smart TV. Make your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen and gather around the large dining table. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with full size bed & bunk bed, and full bathroom. The Game Room has a sleeper sofa with double doors for use as an additional bedroom.
The upstairs has a private Master Bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, & washer/dryer. The Grandkid Room has a full-size bed. The loft area has a full-size sleeper sofa (best for one adult or child). There is a Pack 'n Play portable crib & highchair for the littlest member of your family.
The house does not have air conditioning but stays cool with ceiling fans, tower fans, Mother Nature, and the wonderful lake breeze.
We are located within the gates of the beautiful Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC). The area offers a lovely private golf course, driving range, and putting green. Take long walks through the quiet neighborhood where you will see the many deer who call the LACC home. There are two recreational areas (Rec#1 & Rec#2) with boat ramps, beaches, playgrounds, tennis courts, pickleball courts, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, picnic grounds and amphitheater with a weekly Summer Concert Series scheduled there. Your family & friends will find lots to do when not on the water! Rec #2 is very close to our property so launching your watercraft is a snap.
Besides the LACC Golf Course there are 2 Golf courses close by-Bailey Creek, and Almanor West. The charming town of Chester is only minutes away with restaurants, shops and seasonal activities.
A buoy and private dock situated in deep water is yours for use during your stay. Also, a Tandem Kayak is available for our renters to use- several life jackets are provided but it is best to bring your own to assure proper sizing.
