Our house is a beautiful, spacious craftsman house in historic, gorgeous Angelino Heights.
It has a big backyard, side porch, and a front porch with a bench swing and great sunset views.
-It's a 3 bedroom/2 bath. (One of the bedrooms is decorated to be a child's.)
-There is a small office, and another work desk in the screened in back porch. There's a picnic table for outdoor meals. Also, the kitchen has a new Bosch dishwasher and is fully stocked for cooking.
-There is a washer dryer in the basement, and a fire pit in the backyard.
-During the summer, you should be able to harvest cherry tomatoes and limes from the backyard garden.
-There is a window air conditioner in the bedrooms and a larger unit for the downstairs rooms. (The second adult bedroom is now slightly different from the photo which shows a pull out couch-bed... It now has a queen sized very comfortable actual bed)
-Weber gas grill (next to outdoor table)
-Parking space available in the driveway, plus ample street parking. (We'd also be open to renting you our Subaru Forester for an affordable price, while you stay in the house)
Angelino heights is a quiet neighborhood, with many beautiful Victorian homes, It is in walking distance to Sunset Blvd, which has (food and drink spots like Short Stop, Little Joy, Dinette, Ostrich Farm, Sunset Beer Co Sage), Lassen's (organic produce), Woodcat, amazing and cheap food trucks, and live music stalwart The Echo.
We are a five minute walk from recently reopened Echo Park Lake, and is only several minutes drive from Silver Lake and Los Feliz. Also a 5-minute drive to Downtown, a 10-minute drive to Hollywood, and an easy walk to Dodger's stadium, as well as beautiful Elysian park.
We have a very personable and low maintenance indoor/outdoor cat (no litterbox) named Whidbey, who spends a lot of time outside. We'd love if whoever is renting the house is comfortable enough with cats to leave food in his bowl and say the occasional hello.
Our house is a real oasis. The front porch has a swing and we sit out there in the evening and enjoy the great view of the gorgeous LA sunset. There is a side porch and a large backyard. The house is a rare, older house in Los Angeles, and has lots of original woodwork and character. .
We would love to find responsible people who would like to be in our home, which is a perfect spot for a family. Or a couple who need a lot of work space. This our family home in a quiet neighborhood, so definitely not a party home. It's a truly special house, with lots of detail and character and we'd love to find the right people to share it with while we are away.
