Summary: The desk clerk tried to push me into going to Holiday Inn Suites instead. This is after I brought in 7 suitcases alone as there is no doorman. I just wanted in my room to rest, not move again. I put my foot down but it was definitely a big process to be able to stay in the hotel I actually booked for convenience of having a grocery store across the street. In the rush to get out of my room with all my baggage I failed to do a room check and discovered later I left something important in the room. My email about that item was ignored. It is not valuable but impossible to replace without a trip to Europe. Not sure what to do about it since there is no response.
